Hello! I'm Sol Valdez, an educator at Girasoles Daycare
At Girasoles Daycare, I share my passion for child care with Bronx families. I love working with children, as their energy and enthusiasm are contagious. Plus, it allows me to care for my own family while doing what I love.
My goal is to become the ideal educator for each child. I seek to recognize their specific needs and support their development from early childhood.
In my daily work I strive to:
Create a safe and healthy environment where children can learn and grow.
Promote their physical and intellectual development through stimulating activities.
Support their social and emotional development, teaching them to relate with respect and empathy.
Strengthen ties with families to work together for the well-being of each child.
Manage an effective program that meets the needs of all children.
Maintain open and constant communication with families.
Observe and record children's behavior to better understand their development.
Keep me up to date on the principles of child development and learning.
